Train sets come in
a variety of different sizes, called scales. Each has an alphabetical
name, but they can also be expressed as a ratio; for example, G-scale
trains are 1/22nd the size of an actual train. While there are many scales
available, G, O, S, HO, N, and Z are the most popular.
