LUNAX began as an "educational research project" spin-off of the (Milwaukee) Lunar Reclamation Society. LUNAX was separately incorporated in the state of Wisconsin in 1990. The idea was to interest high school science and ag-science (agricultural science) teachers in experiments in ground level research in the field of experimental lunar agriculture. While many teachers sent for packets, only one set of results data was returned to us, and the project was quietly abandoned. Now we have found fresh interest among specialists in the field, as well as on some university campuses, and other new resources. LUNAX: Phase II has been launched.
